Social Media and Video Editor - Online Courses (Co-Op)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Create, edit, and produce high-quality video content for online courses and promotional materials
  • Manage and schedule posts across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Monitor social media performance metrics and generate reports to inform strategy adjustments
  • Collaborate with course creators and the marketing team to ensure content aligns with educational objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and video editing to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Assist in brainstorming and implementing creative campaigns to promote new courses and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Film, or a related field
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
  • Experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations
  • Strong creative and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus
